Preface
Friedrich Nietzsche
Nietzsche's metaphor of the snake sheds light on the necessity of transformation and adaptation. In a period of immense social and intellectual upheaval, he warns against rigidity. The failure to evolve—be it in thought, society, or personal belief—leads to stagnation and eventual demise. Nietzsche's challenge was directed at a Europe he saw as clinging to outdated morals and beliefs.
